Cat’s Claw Tea

Vilcacora tea is a traditional herbal tea made from the carefully dried inner bark of the tropical plant Uncaria tomentosa, also known as Una de Gato or Cat’s Claw. This climbing plant grows in the Amazon rainforest and is recognizable by its distinctive claw-shaped thorns. For this tea, only the inner bark is selected and gently dried to preserve the plant’s natural characteristics. Vilcacora tea is traditionally prepared as a decoction and fits well within a balanced diet. The tea has a mild, earthy flavor and can be enjoyed warm or cooled.
